I always love photographing newborns in my private studio space. The studio allows me to capture images of families with a lifestyle approach in a rustic, yet modern setting. These studio lifestyle newborn sessions are geared towards capturing families interacting with their baby. So, even though most of the session is centered on capturing family photos, I do take the time to also capture beautiful portraits of your little one on one of my custom designed settings. These family images are not only more visually interesting, but will capture the memories you will want to remember years from now when baby is grown up.

I recently photographed an absolutely gorgeous family in my reimagined studio. Brittany looked stunning (as always) and Ryan... well, he actually cleaned up pretty good. I always tell families that you can’t go wrong with neutral colors for this type of session, and their wardrobe was a home run.

During my lifestyle newborn sessions, I try to emulate that which I would do during an in home lifestyle session. I capture the family together with baby on sets that look polished, yet natural. I want the images to feel like you are hanging out in a beautiful space in your own home. I want you to feel comfortable during the session and always do my best to make you all feel at home, especially when traveling to the studio with toddler aged children.
